The nomination of eight special advisers has received Biodun Oyebanji’s approval as governor of Ekiti State.
In a statement released in Ado-Ekiti, the state’s capital, the governor’s chief press secretary, Yinka Oyebode, made this declaration.
According to him, the appointments were made in order to provide the new administration with the necessary firm foundation and advance the state.
He clarified that the new special advisers held positions in the government.
The new hires were Mr. Niyi Adebayo for budget, economic planning, and performance management and Mrs. Tayo Adeola for investment, trade, and industry, according to Oyebode.
The other members are: Kofoworola Aderiye, Education, Science and Technology; Chief Jide Awe; Tope Ogunleye; Seun Fakuade; Ebenezer Boluwade; Agriculture and Food Security; Tope Ogunleye; Bureau of Special Project; and Yinka Oyebode, Media and Strategy/Chief Press Secretary.
According to Oyebode, the governor advised the new hires to view their positions as chances to lend their time, skills, and knowledge to the state’s overall growth.
They would be sworn in on Friday, he said.
General Ebenezer Ogundana had been reappointed as the Governor’s security adviser, according to Oyebode, with immediate effect.
