PMAN Rivers has responded to criticism from Port Harcourt rapper KashMoney, who described the association as “useless” and called for the resignation of its executive members.

In a statement, PMAN Rivers secretary Ezekiel Benibo accused the rapper of making claims based on what he described as misconceptions about the association and its activities.

Mr Benibo said KashMoney had previously attended a PMAN meeting and praised its vision. However, he said the rapper did not attend subsequent meetings or follow the association’s activities.

“Yes! You came to one of our meetings, applauded our visions, [then] forgot to attend other meetings,” Mr Benibo said.

He added that KashMoney had missed updates on developments within the association.

PMAN Rivers also rejected comments made by the rapper in a video that has been circulating online.

Mr Benibo accused KashMoney of attempting to gain attention through what he called “misconception and valueless messages”.

“Watching your video tells me, you are trying to trend with misconception and valueless messages,” he said.

The secretary said some of the administrative policies being questioned by the rapper were available to the association’s financial members.

He also challenged KashMoney to seek clarification through the appropriate channels rather than relying on public criticism.

“You will not TREND with this kind of approach! You better find another pattern to help you gain attention,” Mr Benibo said.

The latest exchange comes amid public criticism of PMAN Rivers by the young rapper.

However, Mr Benibo said the criticism would not weaken the association.

“No amount of propaganda succeeds the pillars of the New PMAN Rivers standing,” he said.

PMAN Rivers has not indicated any plan to resign its executive members in response to the rapper’s demand.

The association’s response places the disagreement around KashMoney’s understanding of its operations and the participation of members in its activities.
