POLICEMEN FROM EDO ARE CALLED TO FORCE HEADQUARTERS BY THE IGP FOR SERIOUS WRONGDOING.

The unsettling occurrence on June 29, 2023 at Ekpoma, Edo State, in which a police squad ran a car over a person has been denounced by acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
In Edo State, where they had been held captive, he gave the misbehaving cops orders to report on Monday to the Force Headquarters in Abuja for further action.

“Members of the public, in particular the people of Ekpoma, are urged to maintain calm as the current leadership of the NPF will not condone such an act of unprofessionalism and illegality,” CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, said in a statement on Friday.
