Primate Ayodele cautions Obaseki, saying, “Your anointed candidate will disappoint you.”

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to properly consult before settling on an anointed candidate because he anticipates disappointment and rejection.

Primate Ayodele revealed that Obaseki’s current anointed candidate will disappoint him and cause the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, to fail in the election. “Obaseki’s anointed candidate will disappoint him.

Fights cannot make the PDP win the election, and Obaseki’s tussle will make the party fail,” the man of God said in a statement released by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho.

Before choosing a candidate, he advised the governor to rethink his approach and seek input from a wide range of sources.

Before deciding on the candidate for the election, he should conduct thorough consultations. It is necessary for Obaseki to repackage and rethink his political maneuvers. Although he doesn’t realize it yet, his anointed candidate will have difficulty winning the election. He may knock his candidate out of the way.

Primate Ayodele revealed that the PDP will lose out if vulnerabilities are allowed to be used by powerful hands seeking to seize Edo State.

“PDP will lose out if Obaseki allows loopholes by forcing a candidate into the party,” he continued. “Mighty hands are coming to hijack Edo from the PDP.”
