French prosecutors are looking into allegations of unreported labor at Paris St. Germain, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office on Tuesday.

According to the office, “Following a complaint made on December 13, 2022, an inquiry was launched on January 16, 2023 on the grounds of undeclared work.”

Hicham Bouajila, a Tunisian national, filed the case, claiming to be an advisor to Nasser al Khelaifi, the club’s president, according to his attorney, Bertrand Repolt.

Bouajila claims he received irregular payments from a tennis academy in Doha.

French sports publication L’Equipe cited PSG as claiming, “He was never employed by PSG.” PSG, the reigning French champions, did not respond to a Reuters request for comment.
