RATCLIFFE’S INEOS CONFIRMS ITS OFFER TO PURCHASE MANCHESTER UNITED

The chemical company INEOS announced on Saturday that it has received an offer from Jim Ratcliffe’s business for Manchester United, a Premier League soccer team.

17 years after purchasing the Old Trafford team, United’s American owners, the Glazer family, said in November that they had started considering their record 20-time English champions’ options, including additional investment or a potential sale.
