Prince Akintoye Adeoye, President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), has been named the Oluoke of Okeigbo, in Ondo State.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeoye, in collaboration with the Aare Kugbaigbe Ruling House. Elder Ayodele Olopade, Media Director of the ruling house, disclosed the development in a statement on Monday.
Adebare commended the kingmakers for conducting a transparent and peaceful selection process that led to the emergence of Prince Adeoye as the new monarch.
Oba elect Adeoye, an accomplished property developer and legal practitioner, brings to the throne over three decades of professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Master of Laws (LL.M) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993.
He also holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Life Seminary University, Ibadan, and has participated in various leadership and empowerment programmes both locally and internationally.
The new monarch is widely regarded as a seasoned administrator and visionary leader, with a solid reputation in the fields of real estate development and legal advocacy.
His emergence is expected to bring renewed development and unity to the Okeigbo community
