Regina Daniels’ Parents Reunite to Fight for Son’s Release Amid Family Turmoil

Nollywood star Regina Daniels has revealed that her estranged parents, Rita Daniels and Jude Ojeogwu, have reunited to secure the release of her brother, Sammy West, who remains in detention.

The actress confirmed the development in a Facebook post on Thursday, noting that her parents’ reunion carries “no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.”

Rita Daniels, also a Nollywood actress, has been outspoken since her daughter’s ongoing marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko, while Regina’s father, Jude Ojeogwu, has largely stayed silent—until now.

Regina lamented that Sammy’s detention has dragged on for too long, vowing to take matters into her own hands if necessary. “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me,” she wrote.

She further described her father as “a lawyer and one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened,” adding that her mother remains “a powerhouse” willing to do anything for her children.

“I love you mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted,” she concluded, celebrating what appears to be a family reconciliation born from adversity.
