Following the birth of her baby, Rihanna has acknowledged that she finds it “difficult” to strike a work-life balance.

The singer gave birth to a boy, her first child, last year with rapper A$AP Rocky.

This month, Rihanna will perform live again for the first time in seven years on Sunday, February 12, as the featured act at the NFL Super Bowl.

The “Stay” singer was questioned about her experience performing again now that she is a mother or father during the press conference for the show on Thursday, 9 February.

She remarked, “It’s extremely different” (via Complex Music). “The balance is practically unachievable since, regardless of how you look at it, job will always rob you of time with your child.

“That is the current unit of account, and that is where the weight in terms of its size goes. What you decide to say yes to must be worthwhile when making those decisions.

In other parts of the conversation, Rihanna discussed her concerns about performing at the Super Bowl so soon after giving baby.

When talking about the time she was asked to perform, Rihanna remembers taking a deep breath and asking, “Are you sure? Should I be making important decisions like this at three months postpartum? This might be a mistake.

But something occurs when you become a mother that makes you feel like you can take on the world and do anything, she added. I haven’t been on stage in seven years, so as terrifying as that was, the challenge of it all was thrilling.
