Sharon Ogechi Okoroa, an Imo State graduate of the Federal Polytechnic who gained notoriety on social media for claiming that she graduated with the aid of God and her private parts, was represented by attorney Ikechukwu Nwaopara, who claims that his client was misunderstood.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the attorney who made the plea to the institution’s management asserted that their client had no intention of undermining the institution’s reputation, standards, or integrity.
“We are lawyers for OKOROAFOR OGECHI SHARON (our client under our Pro Bono (Free Legal Services) program), on whose behalf we submit this note to you,” the statement continues. We are aware that she will be appearing before the school disciplinary panel this morning, and we would want to take this opportunity to express our trust in the panel’s ability to carry out its duties in accordance with the standards of a fair hearing.
