Six thought cultists caught for endeavoring to kill Traditional ruler in Ogun

Six associated individuals with Eiye cult group were on Sunday 11th of September 2022, captured by men of Ogun state Police Order, while endeavoring to kill a conventional ruler in his castle.

This was unveiled in a proclamation on Monday by the express order’s representative, Abimbola Oyeyemi.

He said the suspects, Michael Ayodele, Monday Samuel, Ademola Matthew, Hammed Jelili, Ogundele Ojeh and Sunkanmi Fadina were captured following a trouble call got at Oja Odan divisional base camp from the Oba of Gbokoto land, Oba G.O Olukunle, at around 4:25 pm, that a few cultists were going to kill him in his palace.

Upon the trouble call, as per the assertion, the DPO Oja-Odan division, immediately activated his men and moved to the palace, where they met the criminals shooting irregularly inside the royal residence.
The police officers drew in them in shootout and in the long run stifled the cultists and got six among them captured.
