A storm of outrage has engulfed social media after a viral video alleged that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels was physically assaulted by her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The disturbing footage — now circulating across multiple platforms — showed Regina in visible distress, crying and claiming her husband sent thugs to attack her. In the emotional video, she lamented:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house I’m nothing, but in my house I’m a queen. I can’t stand the violence — it’s too much.”
Her brother, Samuel Daniels, further ignited public concern after he took to Instagram to confirm the allegation, accusing the senator of beating Regina and smashing her head against a wall before she escaped.
The alleged domestic violence has triggered a wave of reactions online — ranging from sympathy and anger to harsh criticism and mockery.
Human rights advocate @queenamara declared, “No woman deserves to be treated like this. Money or not, this is heartbreaking.”
@mimiposh demanded accountability, saying, “If this is true, Ned should be arrested. Enough of using power to silence women.”
But some commentators took a sarcastic tone. @DaddyTomtom mocked, “Ferrari no gree hold am again, she wan go back to keke napep,” while @TheoAbu stated, “Regina is stuck with that man for life… the lifestyle that man introduced her to cannot be maintained by Asaba movies.”
Others expressed regret over her choices. @QueenEva wrote, “Somadina was the soft life she prayed for, but packaging made her choose premium tears.”
As calls for investigation intensify, the alleged domestic abuse case involving Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko is rapidly gaining national attention.
