Babatunji Wusu –

After being kidnapped four days ago, seven students from the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) in Nasarawa State are now free.

By working together, the military and other security agencies were able to free the students on Sunday night.

Three girls and four boys made up the group of children seeking treatment at the school’s clinic, according to Channels Television.

The students were released by the security authorities, according to Ibrahim Ogabo, President of the Student Representative Council, who confirmed the event.

Remember that on Wednesday night, bandits seized the students from their off-campus housing in Gandu village, sparking protests from their fellow students right away.

The protesters called for more security in the area and demanded the release of their fellow marchers.
Because of its close proximity to the university’s permanent site, Gandu is home to both FULafia workers and students, meaning that there is a notable presence of both in the region.
