Super Eagles: Why Osimhen, Others Didn’t Train – Rohr

,Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said that Victor Osimhen, Semi Ajayi, and Jamilu Collins didn’t train with the team on Wednesday ahead of Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifiers tie against Sierra Leone holding on Friday because of their late arrival in camp.

Rohr’s men will host Sierra Leone in the first of their AFCON qualifying double-header on Friday evening in Benin.

Nigeria head to the game following a 1-1 draw against Tunisia in their last friendly encounter in September.

“Osimhen, Ajayi and Collins didn’t train with the team [on Wednesday] because of their late arrival in camp from travelling long distances.

“We will train with them ahead of the game on Friday. We have all but two of the players we invited as we are still expecting Shehu Abdullahi and Daniel Akpeyi,” Rohr told Owngoalnigeria.
