Nigerian music star Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has stepped into the unfolding drama surrounding legendary singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, after he posted a troubling message on Instagram.

2Baba sparked concern on Wednesday when he shared a short but alarming note on his Instagram Story that simply read, “Help me.” The post marked his first public comment since controversy around his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru began trending online.

Responding swiftly, Teni posted a video on her Instagram page, urging fellow artistes Timaya and Kcee to join efforts in offering support.
“2Baba my legend, we’re coming to save you,” she wrote, signalling solidarity with the embattled singer.

Reports indicate that the current turmoil began in the United Kingdom, where 2Baba and his wife allegedly engaged in a heated argument that drew police attention and led to his brief arrest. The tension resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple argued openly in front of viewers.

The incidents have intensified public speculation about a deepening crisis in the marriage, with fans voicing worry over 2Baba’s emotional state and urging the couple to seek resolution.
