THE NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY IS IN MOURNING FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF COMEDIAN PETERU DIES FROM COLON CANCER.

Tobi Owomoyela a.k.a. Peteru, a promising Nigerian comedian, is dead.

Peteru, a famous celebrity in comic circles due to his unusual delivery in impersonating people, among other talents, is claimed to have died on December 21, 2022.

His cause of death has yet to be determined as of the time of filing this report. However, some of his coworkers have resorted to social media to express their grief.

Until his death, Peteru was one of the fastest emerging comedians in the South-West of Nigeria, having worked with some of the industry’s biggest names. He was also an MC and On-Air Personality in Ibadan.
