On Sunday night in New York City, Gloria Carter, the mother of Jay-Z, got married to her longtime companion Roxanne Wilshire.

The star-studded wedding in Tribeca was attended by Beyoncé and her child Blue IVY, Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Tyler Perry, and Robin Roberts, according to TMZ.

On the song “Smile,” from his 2017 album 4:44, Jay-Z revealed that his mother had come out to him.
