TINUBU PROMISES TO USE KOLMANI OIL TO ADVANCE GOMBE, NORTH EAST

If elected president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has claimed to make Gombe State one of the richest states in the nation by bringing prosperity to the region.

During a speech to a crowd of supporters at the Pantami Township Stadium in Gombe, Tinubu promised to see to it that the state of Gombe and the entire nation benefit from the exploration of the recently found Kolmani oil field.

“You will experience wealth if I win the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Kashim Shettima is chosen to be my running mate. In order to make Gombe State one of the richest states in Nigeria, he vowed to see to it that the drilling of the new Kolmani oil would bring prosperity and progress to the region.

In a jovial mood, Tinubu encouraged the crowd to support Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for a second term in office by jumping and dancing with them.

Tinubu was surrounded by a roaring audience who were screaming “Ko Gezau” (No Shaking) to him. They danced beside him as he lifted his two hands in thanks.

He added that he can only expand and consolidate on the successes already recorded by the present APC administration, saying that the country shouldn’t be allowed to fall into the hands of those who will ruin it again.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, also asked the youth and residents of Gombe to make sure that the APC candidates are elected to office at all levels in Gombe.

He claimed that the rally’s big attendance demonstrated unequivocally that Gombe is an APC member.
