The platform and policies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will be unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
In addition to launching the APC Campaign Council, the event is set to take place at the State House in Abuja.
Gboyega Akosile, the governor of Lagos State’s chief press secretary, said this in a statement he gave to reporters.
Flash: President Muhammadu Buhari will announce the platform and policy statement of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday at the State House, Abuja, and inaugurate the Campaign Council, according to Akosile.
Remember that Festus Keyamo, the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) spokesman, had earlier stated that Tinubu had given the draft manifesto to the party’s organs and that it had received a 90% approval rating from most of the attendees to the meeting held behind closed doors.
Mr. Keyamo added that a team has been formed to simplify the paper so that anyone, regardless of educational background, can understand it.
He omitted to mention the manifesto’s release date, though. He declared that the manifesto would be made public by Mr. Tinubu.
“Today we reviewed our manifesto’s draft, as we had planned. Our candidate is not an independent-minded person. He makes an effort to move everyone along. He distributed a draft of the manifesto to all party participants. We examined it. The draft received a 90% pass rating from almost all of the interested parties.
