Tiwa Savage Reaffirms Loyalty to Davido Despite Fallout

Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has declared her unwavering loyalty to fellow singer Davido, despite their recent fallout.

The rift began in January 2024 after Savage shared a photo with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on social media during his ongoing custody battle with Sophia. The incident triggered tension, leading Savage to file a petition against Davido for allegedly threatening her life.

Speaking in an interview with The Breakfast Club, Savage clarified her position, stressing that she would never turn against Davido.

“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take sides,” she said, reaffirming her admiration for the “OBO” crooner.

Her remarks signal an attempt at reconciliation and a commitment to keeping their long-standing bond intact despite public controversies.
