Tufab Accuses Davido of Threats, Leaks Alleged Messages

Tufab, a close associate of Afrobeats star Wizkid, has accused Davido of threatening his life. The allegation surfaced on Wednesday after Tufab posted screenshots of alleged messages from the singer on X.

In the leaked exchange, Davido allegedly warned Tufab against calling him “Osakpolo,” a name he said he found offensive. He went further to identify himself as a member of the “Aye” fraternity while describing Tufab as a “bird.”

“My name is not Osakpolo, I’m warning u. Ok continue. That’s all I will say. I dey warn u. Wetin wan happen. U be bird, I be aye, make we play the game,” the alleged message read.

Reacting, Tufab denied ever calling Davido the name or belonging to any cult group. He also stressed that Davido’s alleged warnings had become too frequent.

“But I didn’t even call u that. And please stop warning me bro. Abeg me and u don pass all these level. I’ve never said anything hurtful to u,” Tufab responded in the leaked exchange.

In a follow-up post, he urged the public to hold Davido accountable should anything happen to him. “I am not affiliated with any cult or fraternity. As you can see in this screenshot, I’m being threatened and this is not the first time… My life is under threat and if anything happens to me, y’all know who to hold responsible,” he wrote.

The revelation has stirred heated reactions on X, with many users criticizing Davido over the alleged threats.
