In response to a viral video showing an unidentified man giving a substance he was smoking to a young child, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has issued a statement.

The NPF’s spokesperson, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated in a tweet on January 10 that the Police needed more information about the offender and vowed to bring him to justice.

The young man smoking the unidentified substance while holding the baby and occasionally placing the substance in the baby’s mouth could be seen in the viral video.

A woman who could be heard laughing in the background of the video took it.
