Yul Edochie Mends Long-Running Rift With Brother Linc and Aunt Rita in Public Family Reunion

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has reconciled with his elder brother, Linc Edochie, and his aunt, Rita Edochie, after months of family tension played out on social media.

The trio embraced warmly at a family event attended by members of the Edochie clan, signalling an end to the public feud that had dominated online conversations in 2024.

The rift deepened last year when Linc advised Yul to stop airing issues around his controversial marriage to Judy Austin online. Yul responded with a blistering social media post accusing his brother of hiding his own marital struggles. The exchange led the brothers to unfollow each other on social media.

Rita Edochie also repeatedly criticised Judy Austin, alleging the actress “snatched” Yul from his first wife, May Edochie, further widening the family divide.

However, a viral video posted by Rita on Instagram showed the three relatives hugging, smiling, and posing for photos, a moment fans described as a welcome step toward peace within the prominent film family.
