Babatunji Wusu –
Usman Yusuf, a former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), has expressed regret over the mistaken bombing of Tudun Biri Village people in Kaduna’s Igabi Local Government Area.
More than 120 people were killed when the army dropped bombs on the village in error.
In an interview with Arise TV, Yusuf discussed the regrettable episode and stated that it does not bode well for the Nigerian Army or the administration.
He contended that Islamic clerics offered bogus Muslim-to-Muslim tickets to Nigerian voters in the area during the 2023 election.
Despite the President and Vice President being Muslims, the former NHIS was incensed that Muslims were still being slain in the north.
“We have a Muslim president and vice president, and the Muslim clerics in the north came and sold this fake Muslim-Muslim ticket,” he declared. The people in the North claim that you are murdering Muslims and causing them great suffering.
You intend to invade Niger, which is why you closed the borders between all seven of the Northern states. You are causing suffering. You are now murdering Muslims. Observe the military hierarchy; individuals there are full of mischief. Examine the military’s operational hierarchy as well as their faith. The military must exercise extreme caution and act quickly to contain harm.
