A poignant video shared on Monday captures Zahra Buhari, daughter of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, crying and shouting in distress on a London street following the news of her father’s death. Zahra was joined by other family members, including former First Lady Aisha Buhari, at the hospital where the former president passed away.
Former President Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, at the age of 82 after a brief illness. In response to his passing, Vice President Kashim Shettima and President’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila promptly traveled to London to receive his body.
Presidential aide Bashir Ahmad confirmed that Buhari’s remains will be buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, with the specific date and time to be announced in due course.
