The Chief of Air Staff (COAS), Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, has called on officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force to remain disciplined and apolitical as the 2019 general elections approach.
He made the call in Jos, Plateau State, yesterday at the official commissioning ceremony of 18X2 Bedroom accommodation built for the Air Force personnel at 551 Nigerian Air Force Station.
Represented by the Chief of Administration, Nigerian Air Force Headquarters Abuja, Air Vice Marshal Kingsley Lar, the COAS said: “Let me remind personnel that they must remain disciplined and apolitical as the 2019 general elections are approaching. Personnel are allowed to exercise their civic duty by electing candidates of their choice on election days without meddling into politics”
