Nigeria’s National Population Commission (NPC) has stated its readiness for a 2023 credible population count.
At a stakeholders’ summit on the census on Wednesday in Yola, Dr. Clifford Zirra, the NPC Federal commissioner in charge of Adamawa, said this.
According to him, the commission would perform a credible, trustworthy, and respectable population count in accordance with global best practices.
The 2023 census, he promised, “will be the best ever, and it will serve as a reference for planning and development purposes.”
