BANANA ISLAND: LAGOS GOVERNMENT STARTS DEMOLISHING UNAUTHORIZED STRUCTURES

On Banana Island in Lagos State, the Lagos State Building Control Agency started demolishing unlawful structures on Wednesday.

Following the collapse of a seven-story building nearby, it was claimed that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State, ordered the destruction of three two-story buildings on Banana Island.

The organization announced this on its Twitter account on Wednesday under the heading “Banana Island: LASBCA Begins Removal of Illegal Structures.”
