Abba Yusuf, the governor of Kano State, has given his approval for the appointment of 10 Special Advisers and 15 heads of government departments to help him manage the state effectively and smoothly.
This was said in a statement released on Monday by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, his chief press secretary.
The statement claims that the Governor selected 10 Special Advisers and 15 Heads of Agencies.
Governor Abba Yusuf confirmed the selections in a message on Twitter, noting that they were in accordance with his administration’s commitment to ensuring a more effective government and with his campaign promise to appoint trustworthy and obedient individuals to positions of power.
In our determination to ensure a more effective government in Kano, he declared. The following heads of governmental organizations have my approval for their appointments.
“The following people have been named to lead government agencies: the Hon. Alkasim Hussain Wudil, Coordinator of the Aliko Dangote Skills Acquisition Center, the Dr. Kabiru Ado Zakirai, Executive Secretary of the Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board, the Hon. Kabiru Getso Haruna, Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board, Prof. Aliyu Isa Aliyu, Director General of the Kano State Bureau of Statistics, the Farouq Abdu Sumaila, Executive Secretary of the Kan
Others are Dr. Abdullahi Garba Ali, Director of the Kano Informatics Institute, Kura, Hajia Shema’u Aliyu, Director of the Kano State Institute of Hospitality Management, Dr. Musa Sa’ad Muhammad, Director of the State Sports Institute, Karfi, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Minjibir, Director of the Kano State Institute of Development Journalism, and Dr. Abdullahi S. Abdulkadir, Director of the Kano State Institute Director of the Kano State Institute of Livestock is Jazuli Muhammad Bichi. The director of the Kano State Film Institute is Dr. Maigari Indabawa. 15. Kabiru Yusuf, the director of the Bagauda-based Kano State Institute of Fisheries.
In a separate statement, Governor Yusuf also revealed that he had approved the appointment of 10 special advisers. He said, “In fulfilment of our campaign promise to place credible and loyal people in the affairs of our government, I have also approved the appointment of the following Special Advisers: Hon. Garba Durbunde, Special Adviser, Local Government Affairs, Hon. Wakili Aliyu Garko, Special Adviser, Diaspora Matters, Air Commodore Yusha’u Salisu Tudunwada Wada, Rtd. Special Adviser, Joint Security Services, Hon. Musa Ado Tsamiya, Special Adviser, Drainages, Gwani Musa Falaki, Special Adviser, Religious Affairs II, Dr Sulaiman Wali Sani Mni, Special Adviser, Civil Service Matters, Prof. Auwalu Arzai, Special Adviser, Higher Education, Hon. Ahmad Sawaba, Special Adviser, Wildlife Conservation, Alh. Tajuddeen Gambo, Special Adviser, Education, Hon. Baba Abubakar Umar, Special Adviser, Private and Voluntary Schools According to the Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, all appointments take effect immediately as the appointees are directed to take over their new responsibilities within the next 48 hours of this announcement.
