Twelve ships had arrived at the Lagos Port Complex on Tuesday, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), and they were unloading a variety of goods.
It specified general cargo, containers, bulk pellets, bulk sugar, frozen fish, soy bean meal, butane gas, and gasoline as the commodities being released.

According to the administration, 14 further ships are scheduled to arrive at the port between August 8 and August 22.

According to the report, the ships were transporting butane gas, containers, bulk fertilizer, frozen seafood, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, and miscellaneous cargo.

It said two further ships had arrived at the port and were ready to berth with fuel.
