According to Naija News, PDP and the deceased person’s family are anticipated to release additional information regarding the cause of death and the funeral plans shortly.

N136.26 million is approved by Ekiti Gov. Oyebanji for a car loan for civil servants.
In the meantime, the state governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has approved a N136.26 million auto loan that will benefit no less than 368 civil officials in the state.

Akin Oyebode, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, said in a statement on Sunday in Ado Ekiti that the loan plan participants will get payments varying from N80,000 to N1.5 million, contingent upon their grade levels.

He claims that in addition, the governor reaffirmed Oyebanji’s commitment to the welfare of its employees by approving the infusion of N200 million to recapitalize the loan scheme.

Twenty-two benefiting officers on grade levels 02–06 would earn N80,000 apiece, while 180 beneficiaries on grade levels 07–10 would receive N250,000 each, according to Oyebode’s breakdown of the auto loan distribution.

“A total of N1.5 million would be awarded to the three beneficiaries on consolidated salary; 150 employees on Grade Levels 12–14 would receive N500,000 each; and 13 employees on Grade Levels 15–17 would receive N750,000 each.”

The commissioner stated that the Oyebanji administration would continue to put the welfare of its employees first, despite the fact that the government disbursed N130.7 million in car loans in December 2022.

He said, “The governor also approved the payment of N174.39 million in overdue salary deductions to Federal Mortgage Bank, cooperative societies, and other recipients.”
