Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have ended their coaching partnership after six months, with Djokovic confirming the news on social media. The Serbian tennis star expressed his gratitude, writing on Instagram: “Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun & support over the last six months on & off the court. I really enjoyed deepening our friendship together.”

Murray, a former World No. 1, began coaching Djokovic shortly before the 2023 Australian Open, where Djokovic made it to the semifinal before being defeated by Alexander Zverev. Despite their short collaboration, the partnership has now concluded as Djokovic seeks to address a dip in form during the clay season. His next steps include competing in the Geneva Open before pursuing a fourth French Open title at Roland Garros, which begins on May 25.

Murray also expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months. I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season.”
