Bellingham has been managing shoulder discomfort since dislocating it in a La Liga match in November 2023, playing with a brace until postponing surgery until after Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign.
He will miss key fixtures including the La Liga match against Atletico Madrid in late September, the first two Champions League games, and England’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
The 22-year-old midfielder is expected to return in late October, in time for the first Clasico of the season against Barcelona.
