Barcelona bounced back from defeats to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Alaves in La Liga 2026-27 at Camp Nou on Saturday.
Raphinha, Fermin Lopez, Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon all found the net as Barcelona delivered a strong response to their recent setbacks.
Raphinha opened the scoring after eight minutes, finishing Fermin’s cross to give the hosts an early lead. Lamine then provided the assist for Fermin, who doubled Barcelona’s advantage.
Fermin later set up Raphinha for his second goal of the match before Lamine made it 4-0 in first-half stoppage time.
Barcelona continued their attacking display after the break. Substitute Gabriel Jesus set up Lamine for his second goal in the 64th minute, while Gordon completed the scoring with another goal for the hosts.
Alaves managed a late consolation through Mariano Diaz, who took advantage of a mistake by Rodri Hernandez to find the net.
The victory keeps Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table with 30 points. They hold a two-point lead over Atletico Madrid, who defeated Levante 2-0 earlier on Saturday.
Alaves remain eighth after extending their winless run to seven matches.
