BNXN Laments Heartbreak, Says Love in Lagos Has Become “Too Hard” to Find

Nigerian Afro-fusion star Daniel Benson, better known as BNXN, has voiced his frustration over the difficulty of finding genuine love in Lagos. The Finesse hitmaker stirred online reactions after posting on his X handle that love in the city has become nearly impossible to secure.

BNXN tweeted: “To find love for Eko too hard for me o,” hinting at a lingering emotional toll from past scandals involving his personal life.

The singer has avoided public romantic links since his turbulent relationship with his alleged Swedish ex-girlfriend, Filma Jones, in 2022. Jones had accused him of impregnating and abandoning her and further escalated the controversy by leaking his nude photographs, which BNXN admitted caused him deep emotional distress.

Following the scandal, the singer also claimed that another lady attempted to blackmail him with a fake pregnancy after a brief encounter, leaving him further wary about love and trust.

BNXN’s recent remarks underline his ongoing struggle with navigating romance under the public eye, especially in a fast-paced city like Lagos where fame, privacy and genuine affection rarely coexist.
