The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has issued a fiery declaration against bandits terrorising parts of Nigeria, invoking divine judgment on both perpetrators and their alleged sponsors.
Speaking during a service themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church’s headquarters in Ota, the cleric proclaimed that those responsible for killings and kidnappings would face swift consequences.
Oyedepo declared that within the next seven days, divine punishment would be unleashed on those behind the violence across the country.
“I declare judgment on those who caused these tragedies and their supporters in the name of Jesus,” he said emphatically.
In a bold assertion, the bishop added, “Unless I am not sent, this will happen in the next seven days.”
He further assured worshippers that the coming days would bring visible outcomes, stating that Nigerians would soon hear “testimonies of vengeance.”
The declaration comes amid growing national concern over insecurity, as communities continue to grapple with attacks linked to banditry and kidnapping.
