The Nigerian Federal Government has invited skilled technology experts to help build a new digital platform. This national initiative wants to register, document, and track all goods and services made inside Taraba State. Hon. Justin A. Tyopuusu, the state project coordinator, announced that the plan will create a reliable database of local innovations, businesses, and crafts.
This new platform will act as a vital tool for economic development and investment promotion. Local leadership under Governor Agbu Kefas has already sparked impressive growth across the region. However, officials now want to use local technology to connect local producers with global markets. The digital registry will give investors and development partners the credible data they need to support local businesses.
Therefore, the office is looking for software engineers, web designers, mobile app developers, and data analysts. They also need database administrators, UI/UX experts, data analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and GIS specialists. The government wants these tech specialists to join the project as volunteers.
According to Tyopuusu, the official statement noted: “This is an opportunity for technology professionals to contribute meaningfully to the economic transformation of Taraba State by deploying their knowledge and skills for a project that will have lasting impact on local businesses and communities.” This project gives IT workers a unique chance to boost the economy by creating tools that help everyday citizens.
The project coordinators urge anyone interested in building this local technology to apply. Volunteers should contact the state office via WhatsApp on +2347037688301 to register. This innovative use of local technology will help secure a brighter financial future for the entire community.
