Uche Nnaji Arrested at Enugu Airport Ahead of ICPC Interrogation

Uche Nnaji arrested at Enugu Airport after security officials detained the former Minister of Science and Technology while he prepared to board a chartered flight to Abuja, according to reports.

The arrest reportedly took place on Wednesday at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

According to Premium Times, sources said officials are expected to hand Nnaji over to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for questioning.

The report added that the ICPC has investigated the former minister since he left office last year. The investigation reportedly followed allegations that he forged his academic certificates.

However, the ICPC has not publicly confirmed receiving Nnaji or announced any formal charges at the time of reporting.
