Minister of Works David Umahi has assured Nigerians that the Federal Government will not abandon ongoing infrastructure projects under President Bola Tinubu.
Minister of Works David Umahi gave the assurance during an inspection of federal road projects in Ebonyi State. He said the projects would improve transport links, create jobs and support local businesses.
Umahi said about 30 per cent of a 125-kilometre road section in Ebonyi had been completed. He also announced mobilisation for another 168-kilometre section linking Ebonyi, Enugu and Kogi states.
According to the minister, reinforced concrete technology will improve road durability and increase demand for locally produced cement.
Umahi urged South-East residents to support the administration, arguing that its infrastructure investments are opening communities to trade and development.
