Poco Lee on remand in UK prison as dancer faces September court hearing

Nigerian dancer and social media influencer Poco Lee has returned to Instagram after his arrest in the United Kingdom over alleged sexual offences. He shared new photographs and apologised to fans for his absence from social media.

Poco Lee reportedly faced five charges in August 2026. The charges include two counts of assault by penetration, one count of attempted rape and two counts of rape.

He was released on bail in September 2026. Since then, the dancer had not made a public appearance, according to reports.

Poco Lee apologises to fans

In his latest Instagram post, Poco Lee captioned the photographs “ODINAKA”. He also used a song in the background to address his absence from social media.

In the song, he said in Yoruba: “E ma binu pe mi si ni online oo,” asking fans to forgive him for not being online.

His return attracted reactions from several celebrities and public figures, who welcomed him in the comment section.

Background to Poco Lee’s arrest

Reports said UK authorities arrested Poco Lee in August 2026 over alleged sexual offences. He was subsequently charged with five offences before securing bail the following month.

His return to Instagram marks his first reported social media appearance since his release.
