Barcelona came from behind to defeat Galatasaray 4-1 in the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League at Rams Park in Istanbul on Tuesday, with teenage star Lamine Yamal providing two assists.
The victory kept the Spanish side among the competition’s early leaders, alongside Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon. All three teams have won their opening two matches, while Galatasaray remain without a point.
Barcelona dominated the opening stages but fell behind when Russian forward Aleksei Batrakov scored for the hosts. His effort took a deflection off Joao Cancelo before finding the net.
Cancelo made amends shortly before half-time, converting a pass from Dani Olmo to bring Barcelona level.
The visitors stepped up their performance after the break, with Yamal playing a key role in turning the match around. The young winger set up Fermin Lopez, who scored to put Barcelona ahead.
Three minutes later, Yamal produced another moment of skill, beating Eren Elmali repeatedly in a tight space before passing to Gordon, who finished to extend the lead.
The Spanish teenager then provided another assist for Karim Adeyemi, sealing Barcelona’s 4-1 victory and completing an impressive second-half display.
Yamal’s influence proved crucial as Barcelona recovered from an early setback to secure all three points away from home.
The result strengthens the Catalan club’s position in the Champions League standings as they continue their campaign with two wins from two matches.
