Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications Limited, which owns AIT TV and Raypower radio, was reportedly detained in London, United Kingdom, on Sunday night on r@pe allegations.
According to People’s Gazette, this was found on January 9 by U.K. police sources.
On Sunday night after landing from a connecting flight via Frankfurt, Dokpesi was met at London Heathrow Airport. The police eventually let him go.
A 71-year-old man was detained at Heathrow Airport on Sunday, January 8, according to a London police source who spoke with People’s Gazette. The arrest is connected to a r@pe claim made in August.
The man has been released on bail with a date in early April, pending additional investigations. Investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.
