The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the South East, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, has lambasted Uche Ekwunife, the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Governor Charles Soludo.

Ehiemere, in a statement issued in Abia State on Tuesday, condemned Ekwunife’s alleged claim that Soludo suffers from “mouth and body odour,” and dismissed her accusations of infidelity against the governor’s wife as “reckless blackmail.”

The APGA chieftain described the statements as “vile, baseless, and indecent,” warning that such utterances were aimed at smearing not only Soludo but his family and the entire people of Anambra.

“Most outrageous is her baseless claim that Governor Soludo suffers from mouth and body odour,” Ehiemere said. “We demand to know how Senator Ekwunife could have come into such intimate proximity to the Governor to make such an unfounded accusation.”

He further urged Ekwunife to immediately apologize to Governor Soludo, his family, and the people of Anambra, stressing that Government House “is not a marketplace for trafficking falsehood.”

Ehiemere highlighted Soludo’s achievements in infrastructure, economy, and security, insisting that the governor’s record stands in stark contrast to the “malicious fabrications” circulated by his opponents.
