Since his arrest in the previous year, the former Brazil international has been placed under remand.
He had two stints as a player with Barcelona during his career, totaling over 400 matches and six league titles as well as three Champions Leagues. Additionally, he was chosen for Brazil’s World Cup team in 2022.
But in January 2023, he had an abrupt contract termination from his most recent club, the Mexican outfit Pumas UNAM.
