Senator Uba Sani, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Kaduna State, has promised to continue prioritizing education if elected in the 2023 general elections.

The governorship candidate claimed that the PDP administration neglected public schools during its 16-year reign.

Sani, who stated this again yesterday during the flag off of the APC rally in Giwa, noted that Governor Nasir El-Rufai has restored the lost glory of public schools.

When elected governor, the senator promised to pick up where El-Rufai left off, particularly in the area of education.

“My priority is to make quality education available to the common man’s siblings because it will ensure them a better future and improve society as a whole,” he added.

Sani has promised to empower religious leaders even before he is elected, citing their importance in societal reform.

The senator thanked the residents of Giwa local government for their support of the APC administration at the federal, state, and local government levels.

“The projects carried out by the local government would not have been possible without your assistance. “I urge you to continue your support for the APC by voting for us at all levels in the upcoming election,” he added.

Governor El-Rufai spoke at the rally, urging Giwa residents to vote for Senator Uba Sani as his successor and Dr Hadiza Balarabe as his deputy because “they were part of the team that enabled the transformation of Kaduna state under my leadership.”

The governor also urged people to vote for Senator Muhammad Sani Abdullahi of Zone 2 and House of Representatives member Hon. Bashir Zubairu of Giwa/Birnin Gwari constituency.

He also urged them to vote for the Giwa East and West state constituency candidates.

Prior to the rally, the Deputy Governor dedicated an Obstetrics and Gynecology Center, and El-Rufai dedicated a Neighborhood Sports Center.
