In order to liberate a victim in Birnin Gwari LG, Kaduna State, a retired school principle offered to pay a ransom to the kidnappers. However, the principal is now trapped.
Tuesday’s post on Senator Shehu Sani’s verified X handle revealed this. Sani was a former federal lawmaker who served as the red chamber representative for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
He said the individual, whose identity remained a secret, had been held captive for three days or longer.
The post reads, “A retired School principal who volunteered to deliver ransom to kidnappers in order to secure the release of a victim has also been held by the kidnappers in Birnin Gwari LG, Kaduna state.
“He has been in captivity for three days now; the abductors made calls to his family for his ransom”.
