New Line Cinema presents Mortal Kombat II, the latest high-stakes chapter in the legendary video game saga. This action-packed sequel unleashes fan-favorite fighters, now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban), in a fierce, no-holds-barred battle against Shao Kahn’s tyrannical rule that endangers Earthrealm and its defenders.

Returning director Simon McQuoid leads the project with a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, based on the original game by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion.

Behind the scenes, McQuoid collaborates with director of photography Stephen F. Windon, production designer Yohei Taneda, editor Stuart Levy, and costume designer Cappi Ireland. The score is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch, with casting by Rich Delia.
