Tron: Ares tells the story of Ares, a highly advanced Program dispatched from the digital realm to the physical world on a perilous mission. This event marks the first time humanity confronts A.I. entities. Directed by Joachim Rønning, the film showcases a distinguished ensemble cast including Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges.
Adding to the film’s innovative edge, Grammy®-winning rock band Nine Inch Nails composed the original score. They recently released “As Alive As You Need Me To Be,” the soundtrack’s lead single and their first new music in five years, which also features prominently in the film’s trailer. The complete Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) will be released on September 19 through Interscope Records. This marks Nine Inch Nails’ inaugural film score, although band members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have collectively composed over 20 acclaimed scores, earning multiple Oscars®, Golden Globes®, Grammys®, and an Emmy®.
