PATIENCE OZOKWOR: I’LL NEVER LEAVE MY MARRIAGE BECAUSE OF INFIDELITY.

Patience Ozokwor aka Mama G, a veteran Nollywood actress, has stated that she will never end her marriage due to infidelity.

She compared leaving her marriage because of infidelity to leaving her home for a stranger to take over.

Ozokwor, a widow, said this while appearing on Mercy Johnson’s cooking show, Mercy’s Menu.

When asked by the host for her thoughts on dealing with infidelity, particularly in the context of marriage, the veteran actress stated that it was not a sufficient reason to end a marriage.

Saying she was not going to leave her marriage for anyone, Ozokwor added, “Me, I’m not going to leave my house for anybody. You are the visitor who entered. Find a way out.

“I will gather my family, polish it, sweep away all the debts, and then have a peaceful home once more.”

Regarding divorce, she stated that it was not a Godly approach to resolving marital disputes, but that separation was recommended.

“God is not opposed to separation,” she explained. Divorce is not something God desires.

“God is not saying we shouldn’t divorce because he sometimes doesn’t realize we’ve violated – No.”

However, she believes that divorce cannot be ruled out when a person’s life is at stake.

“As Christians, we are not permitted to divorce.

“If you pray and the man turns around to become something else, escape for dear life because it is only those who are alive that can tell the story. Nobody can tell when you’re dead,” she said.
