As of Wednesday, February 22, 2022, Google Trends study shows that Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankaso, and Prof. Christopher Imumolen have received the most nationwide searches in the previous 30 days.
States shown in red are where Nigerians look for Peter Obi of the Labour Party. These states include Plateau, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, and Imo.
The blue areas show that, in contrast, searches for Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Party Congress are primarily directed toward states like Abia, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Kwara, Osun, Ekiti, Kogi, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, and Gombe.
Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party is represented by the dark green patches in the states of Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, Niger, Katsina, Jigawa, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, and Taraba.
Both Professor Christopher Imumolen of the Accord Party and Rabiu Kwankaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) have less noticeable lighter green and amber patches.
